 Movie Beginning: T he movie opens with an old priest arriving at an abandoned place to perform a ritual. As soon as he steps there, he senses an evil spirit’s presence. He declares that the restless soul of a young woman who died an untimely death haunts the place, seeking revenge. The company owner pleads with the priest for help. The priest uses tantric chants and a ritual fire (havan) to trap the spirit inside a doll, instructing them to bury the doll on an Amavasya (new moon) night in a deserted northern location. The Doll’s Journey:   The people follow his instructions and bury the doll. However, sometime later, a girl finds the doll, takes it, and sells it for 500 rupees to a man named Venkat Rao. Soon after buying it, Venkat Rao realizes something is wrong—the doll suddenly speaks, revealing, “My name is Geetanjali.” Shocked and terrified, he tries to burn the doll, but the spirit remains trapped inside.
